Chocolat (the movie starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp) made quite an impression on me. I think I must’ve seen the movie over 30 times. Everything about it was memorable — from the whimsical story, to the classic attire of the townspeople, to the colors of that beautiful shop. And so, here we are, bathed in deep blue of Behr’s Lagoon. It’s a pleasure to wake and rest with thoughts of that magical chocolaterie.
Doug and I are Alice in Wonderland nuts! I know it’s hardly visible from the glare, but the print above the red chair is Alice debating the integrity of the elixer in the bottle labeled ‘Drink Me’.
