Julia Child madness has hit home. I’m lovin’ Ms. Powell’s book, Julie and Julia. My husband, on the other hand, is obsessed with Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child. He downloaded her recipe for Potage Parmentier two days ago and he’s made two batches since. He even bought both hard cover volumes of Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Potage Parmentier? Delicious and delightful. We can’t get enough!

That sounds absolutely divine. How wonderful to have a husband that likes to cook! What are you eating the potage with? I’d probably just sit down and eat straight out of the pot with a spoon, cuz I’m a heathen like that. the only problem with thisnbeing that it would mean devouring a full stick of butter (give or take) on my own, ha ha.
as much as i looove to cook, i must say, i’ve never heard of potage parmentier. what exactly is it?
mmmmm….it looks so comforting. i think i’ll have to try this as soon as soon as i feel that autumn coolness in the air.
