Burger Joint

December 23, 2009

One thing I love about the holidays is good food with good friends. Last Friday, I met up with my old college buddy, JeanCarl. We had lunch at the Burger Joint in Burlingame where we had a fine time catching up and whenever we get together, there are lots of yucks. And the food? A home run.

The restaurant had clean and simple interiors. I loved the red and aqua color scheme.

JeanCarl, being carnivorous, ordered the chicken burger…

and a soda.

Dutch!

I wanted a burger, too. But, being a vegetarian, I ordered a veggie burger with American cheese. I smothered my fries with ketchup. :)

The burgers were a hit and I can’t wait to go back for more!

Your pictures are so vibrant! And that veggieburger looks delicious. I’m vegetarian and sometimes I find it a pain that all restaurants have for us is veggieburgers… but sometimes they hit the spot!

I love your blog! I just saw it on half-girl.org!

That burger looks luscious! I didn’t realise you were vegetarian (moi, aussi). I could just bite those pickles…

oh, and have a wonderful Christmas!

The food was good, but enjoying lunch with a friend was even better! Funny thing about the empty restaurant photo: a whole bunch of people came in after that. Good timing. Definitely a place to remember.

Great photos! I enjoy a good veggie burger from time-to-time as well. Big ups to vegetarians everywhere.

Found a burger joint this week… in such a rural Thai town it was strange to meet an American named Milfred cooking up burgers.

Happy N.Y. Katrina :)
