Oh, what a long day. It’s already half past midnight and I’m still bursting at the seams — I ate quite a lot at my aunt’s Xmas party. You know I’ll be hitting the stair climber hard this weekend!
Anyhow, I’ll be taking a few days off from my blog. I have a few deadlines that I have to meet for work, so I won’t be blogging at all until the first of the year. But that won’t keep me from reading your blogs — I just won’t have time to update mine.

These are so sweet (literally and visually!). One of the things I miss most about the US is red velvet cake. When I was back in the Bay Area last winter, my Mom took me to California Pizza Kitchen. They were randomly having a special on red velvet cake, so I begged my Mom to split one with me. She didn’t end up eating much of it because we were so full, but I insisted on finishing it. As soon as I took my final bite, my belt literally burst open. It was a cheap belt, but I was REALLY embarrassed, nonetheless! But I have to say, it was worth it!
