One of the things I miss most about the US is red velvet cake. When I was back in the Bay Area last winter, my Mom took me to California Pizza Kitchen. They were randomly having a special on red velvet cake, so I begged my Mom to split one with me. She didn't end up eating much of it because we were so full, but I insisted on finishing it. As soon as I took my final bite, my belt literally burst open. It was a cheap belt, but I was REALLY embarrassed, nonetheless!
