Yesterday, I spent the day roaming the streets of San Francisco with my house guest, Adeline‘s globetrotting doll, Ada and The Girl from HK LDN & SF, the fabulous Avalonne.
It’s wonderful to be out and about shooting snapshots with someone like-minded, someone who doesn’t mind if you want to linger and shoot and vice versa. You know how it feels when you’re out snapping pictures with a civilian and you feel their eyes burning into the back of your neck while you’re taking your 20th picture of some fascinating oddity you’ve stumbled upon? Well, we didn’t have that pressure because we were on the same page.
Here’s a picture of Avalonne and Ada to give you an idea of the fun we were having. I’ll have more photos to share soon, but first, I gotta finish my bookkeeping for my Etsy shop. The City wants to see some quarterly paperwork by the 1st. Yikes!

That sounds like a fun day, I know exactly what you mean. Actually I’ll probably do the same thing soon, I met a new friend on a photography course and we’ve been trying to set up a day in the city center. Gonna be so much fun, can’t wait!

I know exactly what you mean about having someone with you who likes to take photos! I often feel like I’m really boring Daniel so I try not to take too many photos when we are out together. I really should try and get out on more photowalks with other photographers!! Lovely shot of Avalonne, I haven’t seen her blog before but I’m calling over now for a look!
I had little Ada last Summer and she was such a treat.
So jealous/happy of you both hanging out. The blogesphere blows my mind sometimes.
BTW, i love the audio edish of these posts. I didn’t use it today but they will come in handy when I’m doing a ton of work and reading blog posts isn’t a priority at the moment.
