I spent the afternoon cleaning the house and getting caught up with all sorts of domestic duties and while doing so, came across some medallions that I had punched for my scrapbook. Do you remember this? :)
Seeing my scrapbook and chocolate cupcakes made me pretty happy — certainly happy enough to make these digital medallions. Most of the patterns were sourced from the Paper Buffet freebie, while six of the patterns (denoted as vintage) were sourced from clip art courtesy of The Graphics Fairy. The striped medallions were created using a Photoshop brush by Lisa from Lisa’s Likes.
The Scallop & Starburst Medallion download includes
- 43 mini starburst medallions
- 30 starburst medallions
- 42 mini scallop medallions
- 30 scallop medallions
Feel free to use this kit for business or pleasure (ie. web graphics), as long as the kit itself is not sold or redistributed in whole or in part as digital downloads. If you use this clip art set on your blog or website, I would appreciate a link back with a credit to this post.
Oh, if you’re wondering how I made these medallions, I used the Shape Tool in Adobe Photoshop to create a 36 point polygon. I then used a clipping mask to apply the textures. If you don’t know how to create a clipping mask, see the tutorial I made here. And one last thing: these medallions look best with drop shadows. Enjoy!
