I took some shots around the city with my Nikon D40 paired with my plastic Diana Lens and I was going to post them unprocessed. But, I got distracted by some Photoshop experiments with blending modes and textures and I kinda like how these turned out — I know I’m biased. I love learning new tricks in Photoshop and like a true novice, I tend to overuse them when I’m learning how they work. I remember that when I learned how to add drop shadows, everything I made had to have a dropshadow — you know, those heavy, unrealistic ones with the shadows pointing in all different directions.
Anyway, I’ll have more photos to share with you tomorrow — without textures, promise. :)
I can’t believe Cafe Prague (below) is gone! Oh, they had the best granola and white chocolate mochas!
Have a great day, you guys!

Love these! I’ve been thinking about getting a diana lens and adapter for my nikon dslr would you say it’s worth the money? I already have a diana mini so i’m not sure if i can justify the money but it would be pretty handy to have a digital option with it.
i love how those turned out. i didn’t know they had a diana lens and adapter. hummm….something to add to my want list. i have photoshop but i have no clue how to use it. it’s so overwhelming but i would love to really be able to use all the amazing capabilities this software has….someday.
