I bought this for a buck from The Salvation Army eons ago. I wear it often. I’ve worn it to the gym, around town, and even to Japantown. It’s bright, soft and worn and the Japanese optical chart won my heart at first glance.
I met up with my pal, Jack, over some coffee and donuts yesterday and he translated the shirt as Looking for a Japanese girlfriend. Holy moly! Oh well. I like the shirt far too much to stop wearing it.

That is so funny, Katrina! Well, if some Japanese girl tries to get a little TOO friendly, you’ll know why!

i just stumbled onto your blog and sure am glad that i did!
that shirt is great, i’d wear it even if it did say that, hah! it’s hilarious, anyway. and the colours are nice, i love white and yellow together.
by the way, you look a little like bjork in this photo, please take that as a compliment.
Heh…that’s pretty funny! Oh, well–just think of it as the flip-side of all those bad Engrish shirts the Japanese don’t mind wearing!
Don’t give it up, you look great in it! At least it’s not like, I totally suck, or something like that.
Ha ha ha! I don’t know if I could wear it anymore. Too funny.

By they way, I can’t read Japanese, but the thing is mirrowed. Did you take a photo of your mirror image?
Haha, that’s hilarious. I’d totally still be wearing it too, in fact I need to get me one of those. Haha, I love it! It’s funny how things can seem so innocent, yet have such a different meaning.
Cool picture by the way.

I would still wear it too. it looks far too cute. =^x^=
i’m not Japanese, but i’ll be your girlfriend Katrina.
I think the fact that the t-shirt has a personal ad on it just makes it even more awesome. Thrift store tees are the best.

Ha ha ha ha. Maybe I don’t wear anymore, but you are cool
Haha! :)
You have the sweetest smile btw.
