This post is an extension of the Pastel Flowers tutorial. This time you are going to learn how to change the color of the flower petals by editing the flowers you have already made in Photoshop. Premium Members will be able to download my original PSD file and make modifications there. However, if you’re not a member, you are welcome to download some of the Autumn Flowers as PNG files. Each flower is approximately 486×486 pixels, 300 DPI.
You can change the colors in Adobe Photoshop in 4 easy steps:
Before: The original pastel flowers.
After: I changed the pastel colors to the following darker shades which were inspired by Nathalie Lete’s painting, La Fille Des Bois (translation: Daughter of the Woods). I hope you enjoy these. :)
