Overlays:  Blog Photo Templates (Part 2)

Hey folks, here’s the first premium resource of 2011! I’m excited about this download because it’s a real time-saver, packed with features that will help you create blog posts with pretty layouts fairly quickly. These blog photo templates are versatile and modular and best of all, you can turn the following options on or off with layer visibility: drop shadows, borders, and caption labels. You can also change the photo border color or apply a pattern or texture instead.

Here’s a quick demo showing you how I created these owl layouts. Please watch in fullscreen to see all the steps clearly:

These templates use clipping masks. If you’re not familiar with clipping masks, please check out this pixel pointers tutorial.

Thanks for posting the how to video. It is great to see how everyone uses Photoshop just a little bit differently. It gives me new ideas on how to do something in Photoshop that might be a bit quicker then the way I’m doing it now.
