The Graphics Fairy: Free Valentine Ephemera

Nothing expresses the beauty of romance better than vintage illustrations. The Graphics Fairy offers many of these images for free and I want to thank Karen for collaborating with me on this Valentine Ephemera clip art set.

We selected 4 images from her library and I then created a few silhouettes and extracted flowers, lovebirds, hearts, and leaves from their backgrounds so that the images are ready to use in your web design or digital scrapbooking projects. You will notice that I left a margin of color on several of the images because I felt they look better that way.

Here’s an example. I used some of the Valentine Ephemera to embellish these stationery textures and I love how they turned out. They’re cute homemade Valentine cards:

Love what you’ve made with the stationery paper! It’s a mix of vintage and the new, cool! Thanks for extracting the pieces for us and making them a whole lot easier for those of us who aren’t as savvy with Photoshop. Can’t wait to see what else you’ve in store for Valentines! xo
