Hey guys! The Strawberry Shortcake Blogger layout is ready to download (link below)! But, before you experiment with the layout, I suggest that you try installing it on a test blog first. If you’re a maverick and you want to install it over your current template, please be careful and be smart: make a backup.

What’s so special about Strawberry Shortcake?
You may be wondering what’s so special about Strawberry Shortcake. After all, it’s a simple layout, what’s the big deal, right? Truth be told, many of the elements can be edited directly with Blogger’s easy-to-use Template Designer. But alas, some of the design features that Blogger turned on by default cannot be turned off with their Template Designer. So, I added over 50 lines of CSS to tweak the look just the way I like it. I go through the major transformation features in some “before and after” shots after the jump. It’s all in the details…
You can change the background color, add a background pattern, change the text and link colors all within Blogger’s Template Designer. You can also customize Strawberry Shortcake further by changing the banner, by adding image sidebar headers, and by adding popular category images. I hope you enjoy customizing Strawberry Shortcake. :)
post-footer fix (NOTE: I will update the XML file so you can enable this!)
Before downloading or installing any layout, please make a backup of your current template. You are welcome to make any adjustments you like. However, please be aware that you are making these changes at your own risk and that I do not provide tech support with installation. Please follow the setup instructions carefully.
