Getting bored with the old tape strips? Looking for something fresh to add pizazz to our solid tape strips? Well, maybe this is just what you need. I made these new tape strips in Photoshop, except for the airmail stripes that I made with Stripe Generator. These patterns were sourced pixel by pixel from my Stationery Textures made in Photoshop. These semi-transparent tape strips are 72 ppi, intended to be used as web graphics.
I decided to make this new set of tape strips after receiving a beautifully-wrapped package from The Gilded Bee. It was fully embellished with washi tape and starburst medallions — Sasha, aka The Gilded Bee, is a genius at giftwrap! And as a heads up, The Gilded Bee and I will have a digital surprise waiting for you here sometime in march. :)
Anyhow, if you want to learn how to make your own tape strips using my shapes as a base, please check out this screencast tutorial. :)
By the way, do you guys wanna learn how to make your own patterns? For example, do you want to learn how to make your own gingham patterns, graph paper, polka dots? Let me know and if there’s enough interest, I’ll get some screencasts going. Check out the tutorial here.

I read your blog everyday and when I see a freebie, especially with an accompanying tutorial, my heart just skips a beat! Thank you so much for sharing your creations as well as your knowledge. If you have time to do a pattern tutorial, that would be fantastic.
P.S. I noticed that you have to drag your toolbox over the image in your screencasts so we can see your what action you’re clicking on. Have you considered using Mouseposé? That application shows on the screencast what keys you press to use shortcuts. Thanks again!
so amazing you are just to kind with all these amazing bits and bobs.
