Thanks for your feedback about the new tape strip patterns — I’m happy you like them! And yes, I will create those grid and polka dot tutorials — one screencast per week at Powered by Pastries — stay tuned. Patterns are easy to make and the tutorials would make fun exercises, especially if you’re just getting to know Photoshop. :)
Well, it’s been a remarkable month so far and I especially want to thank Ellie from Mint Design Blog for including Pugly Pixel as one of her favorite three blogs for February. In addition to a kind mention on her blog, her monthly favorites get free sidebar advertising — how cool is that! Thanks, Ellie. :) And, speaking of free advertising, I was lucky to be one of Danni’s winners for free February advertising at Oh Hello Friend — thanks for your generosity, Danni! And finally, a huge thank you to Jessica from Zakka Life for featuring the latest tape strips in a blog post yesterday. ♥

Love the texture/effect you used on the photos. I’ve been visiting your blog for some time now and I was wondering what font do you use for your Pugly Pixel logo?

oh ive been looking for those hipstamatic frames! thank youuuuuuuu!! you spoil us too much hehehe! :D
I always love your links, Katrina! Thanks!
i love everything you do here. i have photoshop that was given to me for my birthday and i am so intimidated by it. it is not user friendly at all and so i still tend to use picnik for everything. i would love to take a photoshop class one day.
i would love to use your tape strippy things but i don’t have a clue on how to do it. i looked over your tutorials but couldn’t find anything. sigh.
anyhoo, hope you are having a loveLee weekend!
xo,
alely
