Blog Bling: Labels & Tags (Part 2)

A little while back, a blog pal asked me to create some social buttons as a download. I finally got around to it over the weekend and I pulled out my iPad and started doodling with Adobe Ideas. But, there are so many social networks to choose from that I couldn’t decide which buttons to make. So I decided to make more labels and tags instead. That way, you can use them to create any kind of social network button/label you want (rather than offering them to you pre-defined). You can also make sidebar menu titles or use them as good ol’ photo captions.

In this download, there are dozens of labels, playful blobs (which look best semi-transparent, layered), and floral embellishments. I hope you find them useful!

By the way, my friend Maybemej made a beautiful set of free HI-RES labels and tags. Check them out!

THese are so beautiful and whimsical, Katrina. I feel like I’ve been using the word whimsical a lot lately.

Really cute! I particularly like the little flower bouquets and the wavy banners. I’ve never heard of Adobe Ideas. Can’t wait to check it out. Do you have any other iPad apps you really like? I would love some recommendations.

good gosh, you always amaze – you did these on an iPad, so impressed right now…as i usually am whenever i see the things you come up with. not only is the folder on my computer happy and growing but i’ve got every cool, creative tutorial post saved for my own attempts. your well of goodness is rich, exciting and graciously distributed. thank you Katrina!

Love love love love love!!!! Thank you so much, these are so pretty!! I’m been using soooo many Pugly Pixel elements in my blog re-designs lately, that I was wondering where I could find a badge to link you back? I am completely addicted to your designs and style and your tutorials have taught me so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

i can’t believe you made all of these on an ipad! you must have very dainty fingers because they are beautiful! thank you

thank you and you’re welcome! i’m delighted that you guys like this download. using the ipad and adobe ideas was a huge help. adobe ideas straightens lines and smooths curves like magic (i wish i had used ideas when i made the speech bubbles!). these doodles would’ve looked remarkably different had i used pen and paper. once again, kudos to the geniuses at apple and adobe. :)
