Packaging I Like

Getting the details right

I appreciate attractive and reusable packaging. For example, I bought this plastic donut at Urban Outfitters and the fabric bag it came in — though HUGE — was something pretty special. I normally toss out or recycle packaging, but I kept this one because I like the font they used for the staggered lettering. I like the feel of the bag. I even kept the receipt because of the cool graphic on the back. Call me nuts, but I like these little touches enough to keep these things around my office for a while before I get tired of them and then toss them out.

By the way, doesn’t that font on the front of the receipt look a lot like Blackout?
