Prada’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection is heavily inspired by 1950′s Americana, specifically the cars of that era. The clothes, the clutches and the shoes are a beautiful mix of pastels, kitschy prints, and hot rod flames. Anyway, my first thought was of a font called Old Car that I downloaded ages ago from Josella’s retro resource site, the fabulous Tackorama. As you can see, I packed as many car characters as I could into the image above. Please forgive me, Prada! ;) I haven’t really found a use for this font, but if you love 50′s cars (I do!), this may be just your cuppa tea.
