About

Pugly Pixel is written and produced by me, Katrina Tan. I’m a graphics, web, and tech enthusiast with an eye for pretty things. I’m also an avid shutterbug. I’m all for sharing the wealth and I love to teach.

Above all, Pugly Pixel is my personal blog and thus, the topics evolve and change with my enthusiasms — it’s organic in that regard. You could say that this blog is my online scrapbook, and sometimes, my handsome guys will make an appearance: , ,

Disclaimer about my photos:

  • I make no claims regarding my abilities as a photographer because I’m not a photographer. I’m an enthusiast.
  • I’m a fan of Photoshop actions. My favorite actions are free, courtesy of The Pioneer Woman (thanks for the heads up, Karli).
  • Most of these photos are my own and are protected by copyright. If you want to use some of my photos or feature PuglyPixel on your blog, you’re welcome to do so as long as the photos are credited and linked back to this blog. But, please don’t copy and paste my content and use/call it as your own.
  • Any other photos and images are used for commenting purposes only and those photos have links back to their sources.

Most of my images are edited/created in Adobe Photoshop CS3. Some posts use clip art from Blog.SpoonGraphics, The Graphics Fairy, Kitschy Digitals, Minitoko, and Art Pixie. A lot of the fancy fonts are from Dafont. My current favorite is called Learning Curve.
