N.E.E.T Magazine, Vol. 18, is finally out in the virtual newsstands and this issue is noteworthy.

There is lots to be admired and savored, like these N.E.E.T. picks. I’m lovin’ these floral cards by Rifle Paper Company. They’re begging me to hang them on my wall:

The interview with Diane of Darling Darling fame is a must read. Check it out.

Look! Maria made the Global Fashion section — work it, girl!

I really want to get my digital paws on the font they used for the Show & Tell section. It looks chalk-inspired… do any of you font hounds know where I can find this delicious font?

Gotta check out the great threads from Luflux — totally cute, organic and sustainable clothing.

Looking through N.E.E.T. Magazine’s pages motivated me to abandon my boy-jeans and Keen Ventura kicks for the briefest moment. My ensemble below was inspired by Franca’s blue-red-green outfit a few weeks ago:

what i wore:
- top – Old Navy from Crossroads Trading Co.
- skirt – Old Navy
- tights – We Love Colors
- shoes – Munro
- pearl bracelets – Target
- watch – Baby-G
- lipstick – Red Sinner by Lipstick Queen

French photobooth? As a big Amelie fan, only one person comes to mind: Nino Quincampoix! If you have spare time on your hands, La Photo Cabine is pretty amusing, and since the instructions are in French, I added some thought bubbles. :)
To *enter* the photobooth, click the designated areas:

Authorize La Photo Cabine to access your computer’s camera:

Click the red button and pose!

Choose a layout and adjust colors. You can also save or start over.

I really like the retro framing.

I love Tumblr. Though it’s a feature-rich blogging platform, I use it only as a bookmarking tool and this in itself is of great value to me. While tweaking my Tumblr settings and experimenting with themes a few months ago, I found myself drawn to the themes designed by Peter Vidani, who also created Astronaut, a personal favorite. Astronaut’s simplicity inspired Pugly Pixel’s look as you see it today. I even changed my Twitter and YouTube colors to match!
Here are some other Vidani favorites:
While gathering links for Vidani’s themes, I found Cargo by Jarred Bishop. It’s similar to Astronaut, but with two layout options: list or grid. I’m still a Vidani fan, but I’ve adopted Cargo as my current theme.
Do you guys Tumblr? Let’s become Tumblr friends. Please leave your Tumblr address in a comment and I’ll follow you. :)
