Thanks for all your comments on my remix post yesterday. I like that outfit, too. As a matter of fact, it’s the nicest one I own. I hope I haven’t peaked fashion-wise. I’ve received lots of inquiries about the fabulous skirt. I got it from Anthropologie in the Fall of 2008! The skirt was made by a company called Viola, and its name is Stoa Sweater Skirt. :)
Mr. Rabbit, Sir is happy to participate in a Lovely Package Giveaway at Oh Hello, Friend. Besides Mr. Rabbit, Sir, there are twelve other Etsy shops showing their wares. Go check it out before it ends on Monday, March 8 — this giveaway is HUGE. I would enter myself if I could! :)

I want to take this time to thank Etsy curators, Juli Ani and A. E. Wilder, for including Mr. Rabbit, Sir in their Treasuries. I also want to thank Eadaoin for mentioning the shop in her beautiful blog, City of Blackbirds. THANK YOU!!

I can hardly believe it. The shop has been open for a month. I listed the first item on December 29th and now Mr. Rabbit, Sir has over 30 listings. One listing of five quantities even sold out in the first couple of weeks.
The first sale flew to Quebec, the second to Paris. The third package went to Queensland, Australia and the fourth to Denmark, then another to Portugal, Spain, the UK, and New York. I also shipped packages to North Carolina, Ohio, Idaho, Colorado, Washington, and several places in California. Preparing all the packages for shipment has been great fun and I have all of you to thank for this warm welcome.
I also want to give special thanks to Sarah Louise (slubird) for including one of Mr. Rabbit Sir’s vintage ribbon sets in her treasury a couple of weeks ago. I extend a special thank you to Chaucee, Marilyn, Sophie, Cassidy, Bethany, and Paula for mentioning the shop in their blogs and to Maria for hosting that giveaway. Thanks, you guys!

I updated the shop with a few things, a few Valentine’s Day-inspired tags:

Some thank you tags and bags:

Some green tags with nests, in celebration of spring:

I finally re-stocked the kraft bags embellished with lace corners:

I found my original doodles for Mr. Rabbit Sir. Of those potential Mr. Rabbit Sirs, I have to admit, I have a soft spot in my heart for the Cartman rabbit. If you watch South Park, you know what I mean.

Hope you guys have a wonderful Sunday!

Thanks for playing, you guys! I enjoyed reading all your love-inspired quotes. :)
Alright, the winner of the giveaway is commenter #24: Cassidy! Send me your mailing address and I’ll send out your Valentine’s kit ASAP. I hope you enjoy it. ♥
Lulu Letty is hosting a duplicate giveaway that ends next Saturday. Check it out!

I’m a hopeless romantic. A good *me day* is spent either reading some great chick lit or watching a chick flick. A couple of weeks ago, I saw Pride and Prejudice on TV and though I’ve already seen this movie dozens of times, it’s still a great pleasure to watch and oh — how I love Mr. Darcy! The very title of this giveaway is a tribute to the man. Towards the end of the movie, Mr. Darcy expresses to Elizabeth how she had bewitched him body and soul, which he follows by saying, “I love, I love, I love you…”. This is gonna sound really corny, but I really liked the way he said it with such feeling! If you haven’t seen this movie, you must. The costumes, the cast, the acting are incredible. You can watch my favorite scene here.

This Mr. Rabbit, Sir giveaway is for the hopeless romantic in you. A winner will be chosen at random and will receive the following Valentine’s Day Kit:
- 12 pink glassine bags
- 24 kraft bags embellished with strawberries on the lower right corner
- 24 medium frost glassine bags
- 24 small frost glassine bags
- 25 yards of red and white baker’s twine
- 25 yards of brown and white baker’s twine
- 24 small pink manila tags
- 24 small red manila tags
- 4 medium pink manila tags
- 4 medium red manila tags
- 1 Daydream Trio ribbon set (5 yards baby pink, 5 yards rose beige, 5 yards egg shell)
- 1 packet of plush heart confetti
When you enter, there are two things I would like you to include in your comment:
- A link to your favorite item from my shop, Mr. Rabbit, Sir.
- A quote of a romantic nature (either from your favorite book, movie, or personal love letter).
That’s all! The I Love, I Love, I Love You Giveaway ends next Saturday, January 23rd at midnight and a winner will be announced the following day. International readers are welcome to join in the fray.
I look forward to reading your quotes. :) Have fun!
