I first saw this navy dress at Cait’s blog, She’s Got a Passion for Fashion. Cait was invited to the Urban Outfitters opening in Edinburgh in the UK and this dress was on her noteworthy list. I agree with Cait. It is a pretty dress.
But alas, I learned that not all UOs are created equal. Though available in the UK, this dress is nowhere to be found in the US rendition of the UO site. I know this because I actually scoured the dresses section at urbanoutfitters.com. That’s too bad. Anyhow, I saw this saffron top and think it’s tragically cute, too.

Some of you may already know that I have an affinity for all things Japanese, especially their food, fashion and kawaii cultures. On the fashion front, one trend that I’ve seen a lot of lately is a style called “comfie” (yes, spelled with -ie, not -y). It’s also sometimes called “relax mode”. Prominent features of this style are: soft, comfy, baggy and loose with lots of layers. Beyond stating the obvious — that it’s a cute look — I really like it because it’s highly practical and if you take into account my extensive dog-walking activities, it’s evident that this look fits my lifestyle quite well. Take a look at these comfie ensembles, all from Fudge Magazine, Volume #76.

I have always been a huge fan of Kate Spade handbags. Until recently, I didn’t know Kate Spade made clothes, too. Well, the Kate Spade Fall 2009 collection is utterly darling, just perfect and happy for Fall. I must say, I’m partial to the ensembles with colored tights.

When Maria mentioned Anna Sui for Target in an email the other day, I just about flipped. I adore Anna Sui. I like almost everything she designs.
Within seconds, I was looking at previews of the upcoming Anna Sui for Target line. Quite frankly, I felt disappointed. I was expecting great clothes, at least as beautiful as the Jovovich-Hawk for Target line. With the exception of the dresses below, Anna Sui for Target falls below my expectations.
It doesn’t matter, though. You can bet that I’ll be at Target on September 13 to check out the entire collection in person. I wouldn’t miss it! :)
